  • Use the website in any way that violates applicable local, state, or federal laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems

3. Estimates & Quotes

Submitting a contact form or requesting an in-home estimate through our website does not constitute a binding contract or guarantee of service. All estimates provided — whether online, by phone, or in person — are subject to the following:

  • Estimates are based on information available at the time of assessment and may change upon further inspection
  • A written quote will be provided following an in-home visit before any work begins
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated
  • Final pricing may vary if the scope of work changes after the initial quote
  • No work will commence until a written agreement has been signed by both parties

4. Services & Project Terms

When you engage Fresco Flooring to perform work, the following terms apply:

  • Scope of work— All work will be performed as outlined in the written agreement. Any changes to scope must be agreed in writing and may result in additional charges.
  • Materials— Unless otherwise agreed, materials are the responsibility of the client. We will advise on quantities and specifications. We are not responsible for defects in client-supplied materials.
  • Access— The client is responsible for ensuring our team has safe and clear access to the work area at the agreed time.
  • Subfloor preparation— Additional charges may apply if subfloor conditions are found to require preparation work not included in the original quote.
  • Timeline— We will provide an estimated project timeline. Delays caused by factors outside our control — including material availability, site conditions, or client-requested changes — are not our responsibility.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in your written project agreement. Standard terms include:

  • A deposit is required to secure your project start date
  • The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project unless otherwise agreed
  • We accept payment via the methods outlined in your agreement
  • Late payments may be subject to a late fee as specified in your agreement
  • We reserve the right to pause or discontinue work in the event of non-payment

All prices are in US Dollars. By agreeing to a quote and signing a project agreement, you confirm your acceptance of the payment terms outlined therein.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled start date will receive a full refund of any deposit paid
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled start date may result in forfeiture of the deposit
  • Rescheduling requests made more than 48 hours in advance will be accommodated at no charge, subject to availability
  • If we need to reschedule due to circumstances on our end, we will notify you as soon as possible and arrange an alternative date

7. Workmanship Warranty

Fresco Flooring stands behind the quality of our work. We provide a workmanship warranty on all installation services, the terms of which will be outlined in your project agreement.

Our warranty covers defects in installation workmanship but does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear over time
  • Damage caused by improper cleaning, maintenance, or misuse
  • Damage caused by flooding, moisture issues, or structural movement
  • Defects in client-supplied materials
  • Changes in appearance due to natural characteristics of wood or stone

Manufacturer warranties on materials are separate and subject to the manufacturer’s own terms and conditions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fresco Flooring shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or our services, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of data, or property damage not directly caused by our negligence.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
